2.What’s our vision? Bringing Students to Jesus … Building Followers of Jesus.

                    “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with people.”  Luke 2: 52

                      Wisdom & Stature (Own)- inward development

                      In favor with God (Know)- upward development

                      In favor with people (Known)- outward development

3.What is our teaching plan? (Grow Spiritually, Examine Biblically, Decide Personally, Connect Relationally, Serve Actively)

4.What are the ABC’s of Life Groups?

            A ccountability

            B elonging

            C aring

5.How do Life Groups work? I will teach a Biblical principle for 20-30 minutes (following 20 minutes of worship) and Life Group leaders facilitate the spiritual application for about 20 minutes.

6.What’s “Group Link?” Occasionally I will provide a Wednesday night for you to connect with your group (no worship or lesson). Some have gone out to eat, bowling, fishing, etc. From time to time, I will allow you to use Group Link for a missions project.

Student Ministry News

  • Prayer Breakfast (Tuesday at 7am) - at McDonald's on I-16. We can provide transportation to school
  • The Gospel Project (Sunday at 9:15am)
  • The Journey (Wednesday night at 6:50pm)
  • D-Now Weekend (Nov. 4-5)- speaker Bill Stanley; cost $25; We will start at 10am on Saturday morning. Students will stay in host homes Saturday night. The retreat will conclude at 11:45am on Sunday. Sign-up will be in the Student Center or via email.
  • MOVE Conference (Dec. 29-30)- The cost is $60, This is a two day winter evangelism conference at the Macon Centriplex. It begins at 12:00pm on Friday. We will come home after the concert which begins at 9pm. We will return to Macon at 8:30 am on Saturday. The conference concludes at 5pm. You can sign up in the Student Center or via email.
  • Ski Retreat (Feb. 1-4) at Winterplace in Flat Top, WV. The cost is $350. Students can sign up in the Student Center or via email. The non-refundable deposit is $125. Wednesday night is the DEADLINE to sign-up.
